I like to mix delicate pieces with masculine ones — like boyfriend jeans. I thought this would be the perfect outfit to go to dinner for a best friend’s birthday. We are celebrating at a cute Italian restaurant, which means loads of pizza and wine. And a cute outfit to go with — since all of my friends dress really well, I have to be on my A-game.
The soft, fine tank paired with the lace bra are super feminine touches. The jewelry adds to the feminine vibe. I have been looking for a drop chain necklace like this one, made out of 14k gold that didn’t cost a fortune and couldn’t find any, so I made my own. You can buy one here on Etsy. The boyfriend jeans and studded booties add to the rougher, masculine feel of the outfit. It is all about balance when you are mixing, whether it is prints or materials. I also threw on a boyfriend style blazer for the trip there.
Pairing these delicate pieces with this outfit makes for an overall minimalistic feel. To me it feels easy, but put together.
